All groups consist of professional union musicians with many years of performance experience. The NC Brass quartet includes two trumpets, a trombone and a tuba. The NC Brass quintet adds a French horn which provides for a greater variety of music and a fuller sound. The NC String trio consists of two violins and a cello, or a flute, violin and cello. The NC String quartet includes two violins, a viola and a cello. The musicians are formally attired in tuxedos (men) or long black dressy clothing (women).

Weddings located outside the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham or Chapel Hill) incur a travel fee depending on the location.
