Greetings Friends and
Family,
Dean and I thought that we could use our
website to write our 2006 letter. We are late in posting it,
but would like to share some news from our
lives.
Dean is enjoying his job as an assistant
principal at Highland Elementary School after completing his
Masters in school administration with distinction (perfect 4.0) from
Campbell University. He
continues to perform with the Raleigh Jazz Orchestra, the North
Carolina Brass and the Durham, Fayetteville and Raleigh
Symphonies. His brass
quintet performed for the First Night Raleigh 2007
celebration.
I have been busy this year with lots and
lots of weddings to play every weekend as well as keeping up with
teaching my private students and coaching for the Raleigh Children’s
Orchestra. I have
completed my fourth class towards a Masters in Elementary
Education at Campbell University. It is actually a matter of
finishing a degree I was close to completing when I married Dean and
we moved south in 1996!
Our cats Roscoe and Boo Boo passed away
this year but we have two new cats named Cletus and
Clementine.
Please stay in touch with us and come to
visit when you will be in North Carolina. We are always eager for
visitors and have plenty of room. We are about an hour
and a half from the beach and four hours from the mountains, so we
are also within an easy driving distance of North
Carolina’s best features and family on the
western side of the state.
Happy New Year and Best Wishes for
2007!
Molly and Dean Olah
